About Dr. D. Lavanya
Dr. D. Lavanya is our consultant Anaesthesiologist with over 10 years of clinical experience. She completed her under graduation in the year 1997 in Madras medical college and thereafter went to pursue her Diploma in Anaesthesiology Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai. She also has a Fellowship with Royal college of Anaesthesia, UK. Along with Anaesthesiology she has special interest in Emergency care and is an integral part of our Emergency department.

Experience
- More than thirteen years experience in Anaesthetics in UK, UAE and India.
- Worked in various surgical specialities like General Surgery, Trauma & Orthopaedics, ENT, Obs & Gynecology, Plastic Surgeries, Opthalmology, Dental, Maxillo facial, Paediatric, Neuro and Cardiothoracic in UK, UAE and India.
- Worked in Neuro Intensive care in the regional neuro surgical centre in Edinburgh which is a tertiary referral centre for South East Scotland.
- Attended various courses while in the UK and certified as current ALS provider by the Resuscitation Council UK.
- Worked as an Incharge consultant anaesthetist for the intensive care unit in Manipal Hospital (Salem) from 2008 to 2014.
